Project Documentation Review Support
Project documentation review in construction is a comprehensive examination of design solutions aimed at assessing their compliance with legislative requirements, building codes and standards, as well as verifying their justification, economic feasibility, and safety. The purpose of the review is to identify potential errors, deficiencies, and risks at early design stages, thereby preventing serious problems in the future.
This type of review is conducted by a non-governmental organisation following the same process: document collection, contract signing, and payment for services. The timeline and cost of the review by a non-state provider are set out in the contract.
Compliance review with state requirements is not required for: individual residential buildings up to 3 storeys for a single family; block residential buildings up to 3 storeys with no more than 10 blocks with shared walls, a private plot, and shared access (one block per family); multi-apartment residential buildings up to 3 storeys with up to 4 block sections; standalone development objects up to 2 storeys with an area of up to 1,500 m² (not intended for residential use or industrial activity, excluding high-risk, technically complex facilities); standalone production buildings up to 2 storeys with an area of up to 1,500 m² (excluding extremely hazardous, technically complex facilities). Also not required for buildings approved for construction without a permit, and for approved standard project documentation used repeatedly without changes to calculations or site conditions.
Arm-Architect provides analysis of project documentation (architectural, spatial planning, and engineering-technical solutions) from the perspective of ease of operation and compliance with the technical specification and declared building class. We issue general methodological recommendations to designers on specific areas based on the object's nature and concept. We support the project through the review process, addressing and resolving expert comments.
